Ben Sluijs, plays the alto-sax with the sweetness, tenderness and lyricsm of the great american masters. When he is joined by Mendoza and Soniano they collectivly generate a sound that is poetic, melancholic and comfortable like a deep conversation with a dear friend or a kiss from a long lost lover. Their music is classy and timeless like fine wine, and reeks of mature musicianship with playfull interaction and well thought-out compositions.
